Pray till your last breath

“[Jesus] said, “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive. [19:31]

Pray till your last breath.

Ramadan- A Time For Change

Ramadan- A Time For Change
There is only one ayah about Ramadan in the Qur’an, just one and it is situated in Surah Baqarah, in the latter half of the surah. In Surah Baqarah, Allah says:

2:185

The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” [2:185]
When you read this ayah, the first thing Allah wants us to know about it is that it is the month of Qur’an- this book is better than any other book, this month is better than any other month. A couple of ayahs before this Allah talks about fasting in general because fasting was a tradition even before Ramadan was ordained. In a couple of ayahs before this in Surah Baqarah, Allah said…

2:183

“O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2)”
Allah describes Ramadan as a prescription, a prescription for our soul. During the entire year outside this month, we normally feed our bodies but very often our soul starves. But in this month, we do the opposite- we starve our bodies but we feed our soul. We feed our souls. And Allah the most merciful makes it very easy.
Allah opens every door of mercy, Allah gives us the perfect set up, the perfect layout, circumstances full of potential. The shayateen get chained. Normally the blame game is very easy to play but in this month there is no blame game. The focus is on the self. Allah helps us focus on ourselves. Zoom out and zone in on you, on us- that’s it. The gates of hell become closed and the gates of Jannah are open as Abu Hurairah narrates Rasulullah (sws)  saying. Its prime time. If there was any ideal time to change it was in this month, it is Ramadan. You see people come in and out- complete 180. You see people come into Ramadan barely praying, don’t wear hijab, and come out with hijab, giving up some of the things they love most, praying five times a day. The ibadah in this month is like nothing else. The reward in this month is like nothing else. The Du’a in this month is like nothing else.
If you want to change, and this should be every single one of us including myself, we want to change, we’ve spent this whole past year stumbling and falling on our knees, we’ve accumulated black dots all over our hearts, we come covered in sins again but this Ramadan, we beg Allah to change us. But before we can change we need to know how to talk to Allah, how to make dua’, how to return to Allah so that we can take small steps towards change.

Ramadan and The Quran
The month of Ramadan is the blessed month in which the Quran was revealed. It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said. “ The messenger of Allah peace be upon him was the most generous person, and he would be at his most generous in Ramadan because Jibril would come to him every night and he would study the Quran with him. Truly when Allah’s messenger peace be upon him would meet Jibril, he would be more generous than a fleeting wind” Subanallah every Ramadan even the prophet peace be upon him would read and  study the whole Quran. This is an important aspect because the prophet peace be upon him had the Quran memorized. It was already in his heart yet he still studied  every part of the Quran on this blessed month of Ramadan. We should take the example of the prophet peace be upon him because just because he had the Quran memorized does not mean he did not ever ponder back on its meaning! No the prophet peace be upon him studied and learned. The prophet peace be upon him continued to study the Quran until his passing. Now ask yourself is it just during Ramadan you read the Quran? Or do you read the Quran just the first week of Ramadan and than toss it? Or do you get frustrated because you don’t understand the Quran so you never read it?
If you are not reading the Quran regularly. Then yes the Quran is going to be very hard for you. Reading the Quran just ONCE a month out of a whole year is not the way it should be. We have 365 days in a year. Ramadan is 30 days. Most of us read the whole Quran and mash Allah that is awesome! But reading the Quran only 30 days out of the 365 days year round? We need to make a change. And that change will be this month inshallah. During the time of Ramadan, to make Quran apart of our lives we should make it a habit to read it whenever we are free. For example after isha most of us are at home. So instead of getting up right away and rushing off to do what we have to do like the face book or TV, We should take the time to ponder and recite the Quran. But don’t overwhelm yourself. If you never read the Quran start off by reading it every day for 5 minutes then as you get better increase the time inshallah. I promise if you just set a habit every day you will stick to it. Many excuses when it comes to the Quran ar: I don’t have time. But you have time to face book every day for hours? Or talk on the phone for hours? Text for hours? This is our holy book! This is the Quran that is going to speak upon us on the day of judgment
“Recite the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection, it shall come as an intercessor for its companion.” [Muslim].
So how can we not make time for the Quran? If only we knew how much the Quran will help us on the Day of Judgment we would never put it down. Another excuse people make is, I don’t understand what I’m reading or I struggle reciting the Quran. This is why we have Qurans that are  translated in English for us. To help us better understand what we are reading and even if you don’t understand what you are reading still READ and recite! The more we recite the more we will understand the words of Allah SWT. With every struggle while reciting the Quran you are getting rewarded. If your intention is to recite, to ponder the meaning of every ayah you will get rewarded. Aa’ishah (RA), relates that the Prophet peace be upon him said “Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] See how merciful Allah SWT is! Even through struggle we get rewarded! Allah hu Akbar!! The prophet peace be upon him said, “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a hasanah (good deed) from it (i.e. his recitation), and the hasanah is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is (considered as) a letter, rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” [At-Tirmidhi, Ad-Darimi]. Subahanllah just by reading one letter we are getting a hasanah. Imagine if we had the pure intention to recite the Quran every day at least once or twice throughout the week. Or even finish the whole Quran how much rewards we would be gaining? How much knowledge we would be learning? There is always so much to learn from the Quran. Now imagine how much the reward is during Ramadan? Ramadan is a time to read the Quran but we should ALWAYS be reading the Quran and memorizing as much as we can.
Let’s make Ramadan a time to recite the Quran every day, to understand the Quran more and inshallah in those 30 days we will make it a habit to continue the reading of the Quran even after Ramadan. May we be among the mumineen that hold firm to the Quran in our hearts. That never neglect the Quran and that always keep the Quran apart of our everyday lives inshallah. Let’s keep in mind that when we are reading the Quran we are having a conversation with Allah SWT. After all the Quran was sent down upon us for a reason, “It is a Book that We have sent down to you blessed, so that they may contemplate its verses and so that people of understanding may take heed.” [38:29]

What can I do?
Make Goals
As states above, Ramadan is the best time to change because it is all us with no distractions but in order to facilitate this change we must know what we want to change, our plan to do so and WRITE THEM DOWN. Many of us, go through Ramadans stating that we are going to change but never actually do because we forget what we planned to change from the get go, so if we write them down with a plan to change, we are more than likely to do so.
Here is a goal sheet, it is very clean and to the point, write down your goals, you plan, and keep this in a place where you will actually see it, https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1XKkVLDtebSKGBk0c0kJH4yLp8bo_FecDti6GQoYmu5c
When making goals we have to keep one thing in mind, adding is not the best option. If I had a cup with a bunch of holes in it and kept adding water, adding the water would be pointless right? Or if I had an abaya that was mega dirty and kept adding sequins, you would still notice the big Samosa stain, right? When coming up with your goals, think more on the fixing note, the purifying effect of Ramadan and then add. So I would suggest that we fix two major things such as anger or patience and then add one major thing, such as finishing the whole Quran during Ramadan or waking up for Qiyyam every night. Along the way, we can always add minor things that are less “burdensome” for lack of better words, such as taking a walk to get healthy or adding tasbeh after every prayer but 10 of each instead of 33 or saying surah ikhlas before we go to sleep.
Lastly, one thing to keep in mind is to not overdue do it. Yes, you want to take advantage of your Ramadan but you don’t want to be a mullah the first 10 days and be back to your old self for the rest of Ramadan. You want to be smart in what you add, don’t add a bunch of major things but add one or two and many smaller things, this will be easier to keep up with during and after Ramadan. You know yourself and what you can handle, you know if reading the whole Quran everyday three days, praying all sunnah and many nafls, praying taraweh every night and saying tasbeh over 20 twenty times a day is too much. We are all different and consistency us key.
Allah loves that which is consistent. So something else you can do, is grade yourself every 10 days, to gauge how you are doing and don’t forget to write this stuff down! :)

Maximize your time
Make sure not to waste your time during this month, have a daily planner or a to-do list, you don’t want to waste this time, you want to maximize this time! And sleeping all day is not something to put on your chart.

Give
Give, whether it be items or actual money. Everything during Ramadan is multiplied, take advantage of this. Also, helping around in the house can count as a sadaqah, so don’t feel bad that you have to help your mom cook iftar (as long as it’s not a whole day affair) or clean the house.
***Also a note on Zakat, if you do not give zakat before the Eid prayer, it does not count as Zakat but Sadaqah, so please make sure to get to eid prayer on time!

Increase Dua
The Dua of a fasting person is accepted, so amp it up, inshaallah! Also, write your duas down, so you will remember them, inshaallah.
Dua List:
Stay positive
Be happy, it is the month of mercy and the best time to become the people we have always wanted to be. Enjoy your Ramadan, smiling and being kind is not haram but Sunnah.

14 Incredibly Creepy Surveillance Technologies That Big Brother Will Be Using To Spy On You

14 Incredibly Creepy Surveillance Technologies That Big Brother Will Be Using To Spy On You

Most of us don't think much about it, but the truth is that people are being watched, tracked and monitored more today than at any other time in human history.  The explosive growth of technology in recent years has given governments, spy agencies and big corporations monitoring tools that the despots and dictators of the past could only dream of.  Previous generations never had to deal with "pre-crime" surveillance cameras that use body language to spot criminals or unmanned drones watching them from far above.  Previous generations would have never even dreamed that street lights and refrigerators might be spying on them.  Many of the incredibly creepy surveillance technologies that you are about to read about are likely to absolutely astound you.  We are rapidly heading toward a world where there will be no such thing as privacy anymore.  Big Brother is becoming all-pervasive, and thousands of new technologies are currently being developed that will make it even easier to spy on you.  The world is changing at a breathtaking pace, and a lot of the changes are definitely not for the better.
The following are 14 incredibly creepy surveillance technologies that Big Brother will be using to watch you....
#1 "Pre-Crime" Surveillance Cameras
A company known as BRS Labs has developed "pre-crime" surveillance cameras that can supposedly determine if you are a terrorist or a criminal even before you commit a crime.
Does that sound insane?
Well, authorities are taking this technology quite seriously.  In fact, dozens of these cameras are being installed at major transportation hubs in San Francisco....
In its latest project BRS Labs is to install its devices on the transport system in San Francisco, which includes buses, trams and subways.
The company says will put them in 12 stations with up to 22 cameras in each, bringing the total number to 288.
The cameras will be able to track up to 150 people at a time in real time and will gradually build up a ‘memory’ of suspicious behaviour to work out what is suspicious.
#2 Capturing Fingerprints From 20 Feet Away
Can you imagine someone reading your fingerprints from 20 feet away without you ever knowing it?
This kind of technology is actually already here according to POPSCI....
Gaining access to your gym or office building could soon be as simple as waving a hand at the front door. A Hunsville, Ala.-based company called IDair is developing a system that can scan and identify a fingerprint from nearly 20 feet away. Coupled with other biometrics, it could soon allow security systems to grant or deny access from a distance, without requiring users to stop and scan a fingerprint, swipe an ID card, or otherwise lose a moment dealing with technology.
Currently IDair’s primary customer is the military, but the startup wants to open up commercially to any business or enterprise that wants to put a layer of security between its facilities and the larger world. A gym chain is already beta testing the system (no more using your roommate’s gym ID to get in a free workout), and IDair’s founder says that at some point his technology could enable purchases to be made biometrically, using fingerprints and irises as unique identifiers rather than credit card numbers and data embedded in magnetic strips or RFID chips.
#3 Mobile Backscatter Vans
Police all over America will soon be driving around in unmarked vans looking inside your cars and even under your clothes using the same "pornoscanner" technology currently being utilized by the TSA at U.S. airports....
American cops are set to join the US military in deploying American Science & Engineering's Z Backscatter Vans, or mobile backscatter radiation x-rays. These are what TSA officials call "the amazing radioactive genital viewer," now seen in airports around America, ionizing the private parts of children, the elderly, and you (yes you).
These pornoscannerwagons will look like regular anonymous vans, and will cruise America's streets, indiscriminately peering through the cars (and clothes) of anyone in range of its mighty isotope-cannon. But don't worry, it's not a violation of privacy. As AS&E's vice president of marketing Joe Reiss sez, "From a privacy standpoint, I’m hard-pressed to see what the concern or objection could be."
You can see a YouTube video presentation about this new technology right here.
#4 Hijacking Your Mind
The U.S. military literally wants to be able to hijack your mind.  The theory is that this would enable U.S. forces to non-violently convince terrorists not to be terrorists anymore.  But obviously the potential for abuse with this kind of technology is extraordinary.  The following is from a recent article by Dick Pelletier....
The Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) wants to understand the science behind what makes people violent, and then find ways to hijack their minds by implanting false, but believable stories in their brains, with hopes of evoking peaceful thoughts: We’re friends, not enemies.
Critics say this raises ethical issues such as those addressed in the 1971 sci-fi movie, A Clockwork Orange, which attempted to change people’s minds so that they didn’t want to kill anymore.
Advocates, however, believe that placing new plausible narratives directly into the minds of radicals, insurgents, and terrorists, could transform enemies into kinder, gentler citizens, craving friendship.
Scientists have known for some time that narratives; an account of a sequence of events that are usually in chronological order; hold powerful sway over the human mind, shaping a person’s notion of groups and identities; even inspiring them to commit violence. See DARPA proposal request HERE.
#5 Unmanned Drones In U.S. Airspace
Law enforcement agencies all over the United States are starting to use unmanned drones to spy on us, and the Department of Homeland Security is aggressively seeking to expand the use of such drones by local authorities....
The Department of Homeland Security has launched a program to "facilitate and accelerate the adoption" of small, unmanned drones by police and other public safety agencies, an effort that an agency official admitted faces "a very big hurdle having to do with privacy."
The $4 million Air-based Technologies Program, which will test and evaluate small, unmanned aircraft systems, is designed to be a "middleman" between drone manufacturers and first-responder agencies "before they jump into the pool," said John Appleby, a manager in the DHS Science and Technology Directorate's division of borders and maritime security.
The fact that very few Americans seem concerned about this development says a lot about where we are as a nation.  The EPA is already using drones to spy on cattle ranchers in Nebraska and Iowa.  Will we eventually get to a point where we all just consider it to be "normal" to have surveillance drones flying above our heads constantly?
#6 Law Enforcement Using Your Own Cell Phone To Spy On You
Although this is not new technology, law enforcement authorities are using our own cell phones to spy on us more extensively than ever before as a recent Wired article described....
Mobile carriers responded to a staggering 1.3 million law enforcement requests last year for subscriber information, including text messages and phone location data, according to data provided to Congress.
A single "request" can involve information about hundreds of customers.  So ultimately the number of Americans affected by this could reach into "the tens of millions" each year....
The number of Americans affected each year by the growing use of mobile phone data by law enforcement could reach into the tens of millions, as a single request could ensnare dozens or even hundreds of people. Law enforcement has been asking for so-called “cell tower dumps” in which carriers disclose all phone numbers that connected to a given tower during a certain period of time.
So, for instance, if police wanted to try to find a person who broke a store window at an Occupy protest, it could get the phone numbers and identifying data of all protestors with mobile phones in the vicinity at the time — and use that data for other purposes.
Perhaps you should not be using your cell phone so much anyway.  After all, there are more than 500 studies that show that cell phone radiation is harmful to humans.
#7 Biometric Databases
All over the globe, governments are developing massive biometric databases of their citizens.  Just check out what is going on in India....
In the last two years, over 200 million Indian nationals have had their fingerprints and photographs taken and irises scanned, and given a unique 12-digit number that should identify them everywhere and to everyone.
This is only the beginning, and the goal is to do the same with the entire population (1.2 billion), so that poorer Indians can finally prove their existence and identity when needed for getting documents, getting help from the government, and opening bank and other accounts.
This immense task needs a database that can contain over 12 billion fingerprints, 1.2 billion photographs, and 2.4 billion iris scans, can be queried from diverse devices connected to the Internet, and can return accurate results in an extremely short time.
#8 RFID Microchips
In a previous article, I detailed how the U.S. military is seeking to develop technology that would enable it to monitor the health of our soldiers and improve their performance in battle using RFID microchips.
Most Americans don't realize this, but RFID microchips are steadily becoming part of the very fabric of our lives.  Many of your credit cards and debit cards contain them.  Many Americans use security cards that contain RFID microchips at work.  In some parts of the country it is now mandatory to inject an RFID microchip into your pet.
Now, one school system down in Texas actually plans to start using RFID microchips to track the movements of their students....
Northside Independent School District plans to track students next year on two of its campuses using technology implanted in their student identification cards in a trial that could eventually include all 112 of its schools and all of its nearly 100,000 students.
District officials said the Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID) tags would improve safety by allowing them to locate students — and count them more accurately at the beginning of the school day to help offset cuts in state funding, which is partly based on attendance.
#9 Automated License Plate Readers
In a previous article, I quoted a Washington Post piece that talked about how automated license plate readers are being used to track the movements of a vehicle from the time that it enters Washington D.C. to the time that it leaves....
More than 250 cameras in the District and its suburbs scan license plates in real time, helping police pinpoint stolen cars and fleeing killers. But the program quietly has expanded beyond what anyone had imagined even a few years ago.
With virtually no public debate, police agencies have begun storing the information from the cameras, building databases that document the travels of millions of vehicles.
Nowhere is that more prevalent than in the District, which has more than one plate-reader per square mile, the highest concentration in the nation. Police in the Washington suburbs have dozens of them as well, and local agencies plan to add many more in coming months, creating a comprehensive dragnet that will include all the approaches into the District.
#10 Face Reading Software
Can computers tell what you are thinking just by looking at your face?
Don't laugh.
Such technology is actually being actively developed.  The following is from a recent NewScientist article....
IF THE computers we stare at all day could read our faces, they would probably know us better than anyone.
That vision may not be so far off. Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab are developing software that can read the feelings behind facial expressions. In some cases, the computers outperform people. The software could lead to empathetic devices and is being used to evaluate and develop better adverts.
#11 Data Mining
The government is not the only one that is spying on you.  The truth is that a whole host of very large corporations are gathering every shred of information about you that they possibly can and selling that information for profit.  It is called "data mining", and it is an industry that has absolutely exploded in recent years.
One very large corporation known as Acxiom actually compiles information on more than 190 million people in the U.S. alone....
The company fits into a category called database marketing. It started in 1969 as an outfit called Demographics Inc., using phone books and other notably low-tech tools, as well as one computer, to amass information on voters and consumers for direct marketing. Almost 40 years later, Acxiom has detailed entries for more than 190 million people and 126 million households in the U.S., and about 500 million active consumers worldwide. More than 23,000 servers in Conway, just north of Little Rock, collect and analyze more than 50 trillion data 'transactions' a year.
#12 Street Lights Spying On Us?
Did you ever consider that street lights could be spying on you?
Well, it is actually happening.  New high tech street lights that can actually watch what you do and listen to what you are saying are being installed in some major U.S. cities.  The following is from a recent article by Paul Joseph Watson for Infowars.com....
Federally-funded high-tech street lights now being installed in American cities are not only set to aid the DHS in making “security announcements” and acting as talking surveillance cameras, they are also capable of “recording conversations,” bringing the potential privacy threat posed by ‘Intellistreets’ to a whole new level.
#13 Automated ISP Monitoring Of Your Internet Activity
As I have written about before, nothing you do on the Internet is private.  However, Internet Service Providers and the entertainment industry are now taking Internet monitoring to a whole new level....
If you download potentially copyrighted software, videos or music, your Internet service provider (ISP) has been watching, and they’re coming for you.
Specifically, they’re coming for you on Thursday, July 12.
That’s the date when the nation’s largest ISPs will all voluntarily implement a new anti-piracy plan that will engage network operators in the largest digital spying scheme in history, and see some users’ bandwidth completely cut off until they sign an agreement saying they will not download copyrighted materials.
Word of the start date has been largely kept secret since ISPs announced their plans last June. The deal was brokered by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), and coordinated by the Obama Administration.
Spying On Us Through Our Appliances
Could the government one day use your refrigerator to spy on you?
Don't laugh.
That is exactly what CIA Director David Petraeus says is coming....
Petraeus says that web-connected gadgets will 'transform' the art of spying - allowing spies to monitor people automatically without planting bugs, breaking and entering or even donning a tuxedo to infiltrate a dinner party.

'Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,' said Petraeus.
'Particularly to their effect on clandestine tradecraft. Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and energy harvesters -  all connected to the next-generation internet using abundant, low-cost, and high-power computing.'

Petraeus was speaking to a venture capital firm about new technologies which aim to add processors and web connections to previously  'dumb' home appliances such as fridges, ovens and lighting systems.
For many more ways that Big Brother is spying on you, please see these articles....
"Every Breath You Take, Every Move You Make – 14 New Ways That The Government Is Watching You"
"30 Signs That The United States Of America Is Being Turned Into A Giant Prison"
The things that I have written about above are just the things that they admit to.
There are also many "black box technologies" being developed out there that the public does not even know about yet.
So how far will all of this go?
Has Big Brother already gone way too far?
Please feel free to post a comment with your opinion below....

Healing by Listening to Quran

Healing by Listening to Quran

How could listening to the verses of Allah affect the brain cells? What's the scientific explanation to this phenomenon? Is there a hidden energy in the Holy Quran? Let's read….….
Personal Experience
The reason behind writing this article is my own personal experience with the Holy Quran. I was with the Holy Quran all the time; even while I am sleeping I used to leave the radio on with reciting the Holy Quran. As a matter of fact, I had no idea at that time about the technique of learning during sleep!!!
After a few months, I noticed great changes inside me. I felt that each one of my brain cells is vibrating and reacting with the voice of the Holy Quran recitation I was listening to. I was memorizing the Holy Quran using the technique of listening and repeating the chapter many times. Therefore, I found that the verses of the Holy Quran were getting easily into my memory.
Twenty years ago I told one of my friends that listening to the Holy Quran recitation reprogrammed the brain cells completely! But a few days ago I was really surprised to read about the experiments of the scientists in treating some of the incurable diseases using the sound waves of music. Some of the researchers such as the American scientist Annie Williams ,who is using the music therapy technique, has come out with important results. Those results, however, was limited until now because of the inability of the music to create the required effects on the cells. Nevertheless, she asserts that she has come up with unbelievable results in treating the Colon Cancer and the Brain Tumor and other diseases. She also states that the sense of creativity has been increased in each one of the patients who has listened to the recorded music.
Consequently , I'd like here to mention to my dear readers the results I got from the long period of listening to the recitation of the Holy Quran: I feel now that I have become stronger than before, that the immunity of my body has increased ,and my character has become better ,especially in dealing with people. The Holy Quran has also awakened the sense of creativity inside me and all these articles I wrote in a short period were the result of reading and listening to the Holy Quran constantly .
I can say , my dear reader, that constant listening to the Holy Quran increases the creativity in the human being and this is what happened to me. I still remember that before reading and memorizing the Holy Quran I was unable to write a single sentence correctly , but now I am able to write a scientific research paper in a day or a couple of days.
So we can see that listening to the Holy Quran does not only help in healing illnesses, but also contributes to developing the human personality and the communication skills together with the ability of creativity and coming up with new ideas. Therefore, you, dear reader, can try this and definitely will get fantastic results.
Scientific Facts
In 1839, the scientist" Enrick William Duve" discovered that exposing the brain to certain wave sounds can affect it positively and negatively . When he exposed the ears to different wave sound frequencies, he found that the brain reacts with those sound vibrations. Then, scientists found that the brain cells are in a state of vibration during its life time. Each cell vibrates in a certain system and is affected by the other cells around it. So it can be noticed that any bad incident can lead to a disorder in the vibration system of the brain.

Neural cell in the brain in a state of constant vibration. This cell contains a complex program through which billion cells around interact in an amazing coordination that exhibit the greatness of God. Any disorder in this program leads to a deficiency in the immunity system and causes diseases.
The mechanism of the cells in processing information depends on vibrating and producing electric fields through which a human being can talk, move, drive and interact with others. Therefore, when negative actions such as the shocks , embarrassing situations or problems that happens to a person during his/her life accumulate , they cause a kind of mess in the brain cells. This mess is irksome and exhausting for the brain because it does an extra unnecessary work.

Before the baby is born , his brain cells begin vibrating rhythmically in a balanced way. But after its birth, each action will influence the brain cells and the way they vibrate. So if some of the brain cells are unprepared to tolerate high frequencies, this may cause a disorder in the vibrating system which in turn leads to a lot of physical and psychological diseases.
Nowadays, scientists state that each form of behavior is a result of a certain vibration of the brain cells and they asserts that exposing a human being to certain sound frequencies frequently changes the way in which the brain cells vibrate (i.e. changes the frequency of the cellular vibration).Consequently, there are frequencies that make the brain cells vibrate positively and actively and there are others that hurt the brain cells and my cause death. Therefore , the important question now is What are the frequencies that can be suitable for the brain??

Scientists also discovered that the DNA strap inside each cell vibrates in a certain way as well. This strap contains the necessary information for life, so any changes resulted from an accident ,a problem, a virus or a disease attacking the body could make it vibrate less than the normal speed. And the best way to make this strap perform well is reprogramming this strap using a certain wave sound. Thus , the strap as the scientists assert, reacts with those waves and starts vibrating vigorously. However, there are some waves that might damage this strap.
Recently, many therapists treat people using wave sound vibration to cure some incurable diseases such as Cancer and some other chronic diseases in which the traditional medicine has failed . They also found this way useful in treating some psychological diseases such as Schizophrenia, Anxiety, sleeping problems and some bad habits such as smoking, drug addiction and etc.
What is the best medicine?
The best medicine to cure all illnesses is the Holy Quran. This is a result of a long time experience in treating people. Many cases that had incurable illnesses recovered after exposing them to the recitation of Holy Quran. That is because of the ability of Holy Quran in rebalancing the brain cells and increasing their capability in performing well.
Each cell has a vibrating system that Allah has created to do its job and those cells do not understand the speech language but they deals with frequencies and vibrations like those in the mobile phones which receive electromagnetic waves and in turn send other waves. Therefore, we can say, metaphorically, that in each cell there is a very complex mobile phone. And you can imagine thousand billions of cells in your brain vibrating rhythmically in a way that no human being can understand , realize or imitate and if any cell was being in disorder , all the body would be in a disorder. So Holy Quran is a blessing that urges us to thank Allah . But do we really appreciate such a blessing??
An image for the brain cells in which we can see the damaged area appear in red color .Those cells are not so active, and nearly lack energy. Those cells are about to die. But after exposing them to a certain wave sound they start vibrating actively. (source: National Research Council of Canada)
The Verses of Holy Quran Heal
According to the recent discoveries, scientists say that any illness must make a change in reprogramming the cells and each cell works according to a certain program from birth to death. Therefore, any physical or psychological disorder causes a confusion in the vibration system of the cell which makes a disorder in the cellular program. So we need to restore and correct this program in order to heal this disorder.
During my meditation with the Holy Quran , I found that there is a very precise digital system in each verse. Those verses, however, do not only carry the language of numbers but also carry some thing like what we call "data" or "programs" that can deal with the cells. Therefore, we can say that those verses carry the language of those cells!!!!
The reader may think this unscientific theory, but I assure you that I found a lot of verses in the Quran confirming that the Holy Quran verses carry a lot of data exactly like those normal radio waves used in carrying information, music , sounds and so on.
Allah says in His Holy book
" Had it been possible for a Lecture to cause the mountains to move , or the earth to be torn asunder , or the dead to speak , this Quran would have done so . Nay , but Allah ' s is the whole command .(Ra'd:13:31)
If we deeply analyze this verse we, we can come up with this question: How can the Holy Quran cause the mountain to move, or the earth to be torn or the dead to speak?? The answer is through the data that only dead people can understand.
As the mountains are concerned, it is known that the earth layers move slowly nearly few centimeter a year, driving the mountains to move, too. This movement is resulted from thermal waves produced from the melting area under the crust. Therefore, we can say that the Quran contains data that can deal with these thermal waves causing layers to stir and move faster that makes cracks and earthquakes; and cuts the crust into many small pieces. This great power is put in the Holy Quran, but we are not allowed to reach it . Instead ,we have been told about this great power to realize how great is this Holy Book. Now, Can this Holy Book which has this advantage of this great power heal weak creatures like human beings???
When Allah tells us that this Holy Quran is a" healing", this means that it carries data and programs sufficient to heal the damaged cells in the body and cures what the doctors was incapable of.
The easiest medicine for all illnesses and diseases
Dear reader! I can say confidently according to my experience that from a simple change in your life you can get unexpected big results that may change your life completely as it happened to me before you. What you have to do is to listen to the recitation of the Holy Quran as much as you can all the time: in the morning, in the afternoon , at night, while you are asleep, when you awake up and before you sleep. What you need to listen to the Holy Quran is to have a media such as a Lap Top, a tape recorder, a small iPod or mp3 with headphones, a TV, a radio or any other device.

The Holy Quran recitation sound has wave sounds that have a certain frequency and a certain wave length. These waves spread wave fields that affect the brain positively and restore its balance. This grants the body a strong immunity to resist illnesses or diseases such as Cancer . Cancer is a disorder in the performance of the cells, so listening to the Holy Quran reprograms the cells as a computer which was full of viruses and was "reformatted" and downloaded with new programs in order to perform effectively. This is what man-made programs do for computers. What about the programs which are carried in the words of Allah, the creator of all human beings.
The amazing effect resulting from Listening to Quran
The continuous listening to the recitation of Holy Quran gives you the following real fruitful results:
-                      increase the immunity of the body
-                      enhance the creativity sense
-                      improve the concentration ability
-                      heal the chronic and incurable illnesses
-                      change the behavior and enable people to communicate better and gain trust
-                      create inner peace and heal the neural tensions
-                      heal nervousness, irritation and precipitation
-                      improve the ability of taking right decisions
-                      decrease fear and hesitation
-                       improve and strengthen the personality
-                      heal the normal illnesses such as allergy, headache, flu ,etc.
-                      improve the speech ability
-                      protect from diseases such as cancer and so on
-                      Change some bad habits such as excessive eating and smoking

Dear reader! those things I mentioned above are the results I myself got: I remember I was a heavy smoker and could not imagine giving up smoking ever, but after the continuous listening to the Holy Quran I found myself giving up smoking without any effort. I was really surprised "how my life changed and why? But after I read about the recent technique in healing ,one of which was the therapy by sounds and sound frequencies, I knew the secret of this great change in my life. It was listening to the recitation of the Holy Quran. What I simply did was only listening to the Holy Quran continuously.
To conclude, I 'd like to tell you a fact that I encountered and really tried: howsoever you spend your time in reading or listening to the Holy Quran, you will find that this time will not be wasted nor decreased . But you will notice that you will always have an extra time. You will find that the same works that takes sometimes days or hours to be done can be finished in few minutes only!!!
"O mankind! There has come unto you an exhortation from your Lord , a healing for that which is in the breasts ,and a guidance and a mercy for believers . Say : In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy : therein let them rejoice . It is better than what they hoard . (Jonah:10:57,58)"

The Truth about Jesus : The Muslim Nation is More Worthy of Jesus Than All Others

In The name of Allah,The Most Merciful,The Most gracious

The Truth about Jesus : The Muslim Nation is More Worthy of Jesus Than All Others

 Yahya Adel Ibrahim

All Praise is for Allah alone. He is the Rabb of all that exists. Surely, we send the highest Salah and Salaam upon the Final Prophet, the leader of the pious and upon his family, companions and those who follow their example with Ih’san till the Day of Reckoning.
One of the greatest hurdles confronting Muslims today is a lack of knowledge about certain essential beliefs that we as Muslims must unwaveringly adhere to. Of the most pertinent issues facing Muslims living in localities that are heavily influenced by western culture is how we view ‘Isa bin Maryam – Jesus the Son of Mary – alaihis salaam (AS).
On a cyclical basis we are confronted with different “religious” occasions that are marked by our Christian neighbours, coworkers and acquaintances. It is paramount that we as Muslims have a firm understanding of what he – ‘Isa (AS) represents to us as Muslims. Whether it is Easter Monday or Christmas day, we as Muslims should know what Islam says about the issues that are presented to us on a regular basis.
The Muslim Nation is more Worthy of ‘Isa than all the other nations.
The one who claims that ‘Isa (AS) is God, or that ‘Isa (AS) is the Son of God, or that God is a Trinity that includes ‘Isa is in fact the most distant from the teachings of ‘Isa (AS) even if he calls himself a devout Christian. Claiming love for someone implies that you adhere to what that individual stood for and called to. ‘Isa (AS) was never one who claimed any one of the previous three statements for himself. In fact neither did his true followers.
For this to become clear we will analyze four main points:
  • The Prophets of Allah are all Related.
  • The Only accepted Deen (Religious Way of Life) is Islam.
  • ‘Isa was but a humble Messenger and Prophet of Allah.
  • ‘Isa distances himself from the slander and unjustified claims of Christians.

The Prophets of Allah are all related

Rasool Allah (SAW) said:
“I am the most worthy of ‘Isa bin Maryam in this life and in the hereafter.” They (Sahabah) asked: “Why is that O Messenger of Allah (SAW)?” He (SAW) replied: “The Prophets are paternal (bloodline) brethren (from fathers side). Their mothers may be different (races, peoples, bloodlines) yet their Deen is always one (Islam).” (Reported by Bukhari and Muslim.)
Therefore this necessitates that he who disputes the validity of one of the true Prophets and Messengers has in fact reviled and disputed all of them. One cannot believe in Muhammad (SAW) and not believe in ‘Isa (AS). Equally, one cannot truly believe in ‘Isa and not believe in Muhammad (SAW). To truly accept one Prophet or Messenger necessitates the acceptance of all those who came before him and all who will come after him, ending with Muhammad (SAW).
This concept is clearly portrayed in the Quran. Allah (SWT) mentions the first Messenger to humanity Nuh or Noah (AS) in the Quran. What is very interesting is that Allah (SWT) states in Surah Al Shu’ara’ (26:105) that “The people of Nuh (Noah) rejected the messengers.” The point of relevance is that a plural (Messengers) is used in this ayah, yet we know that there were no Messengers sent to his people or humanity as a matter of fact. Allah only sent Nuh (AS) to his people and none other before him. This same concept is further emphasized in the same Surah. Allah (SWT) says:
“The ‘Ad (people) rejected the messengers.“ [Surah Al Shu'ara' 26:123]
“The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers.” [Surah Al Shu'ara' 26:141]
“The people of Lut (Lot) rejected the messengers.” [Surah Al Shu'ara' 26:160]
We know that to each of these people only one Messenger was sent to them.
Disbelieving in one Prophet or Messenger is disbelief in all the Prophets and Messengers.
Allah (SWT) says:
“The Apostle (Muhammad) believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles (Messengers). “We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles.”…” [Surah Al Baqarah 2:285]
Therefore all the Prophets and Messengers are a fraternity of brethren through the lineage of their fathers. Even ‘Isa (AS), who was born without a fathers’ input into the equation of procreation is from the family of Bani Israel the descendant of Ishaq (Isaac) son of Yaqub or Jacob (AS).
Even more important is to know that all the Prophets called to one and the same thing – Islam. This brings us to the second point of our analysis:

The Only accepted Deen (Religious Way of Life) is Islam

Allah (SWT) says: “The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will):…” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:19]
All of the Prophets and Messengers came calling to the one true faith. They all were sent with one mission. They were selected to call people to singling out only Allah in worship and to disavow all other gods or deities while establishing Allah (SWT) alone as the One deserving all worship. All the Prophets and Messengers called their respective peoples to Islam.
Nuh (AS) called to Islam:
Allah (SWT) says: “(Nuh said) “But if ye turn back, (consider): no reward have I asked of you: my reward is only due from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of those who submit to Allah’s will (in Islam).”” [Surah Yunus 10:72]
Ibrahim and Yaqub or Abraham and Jacob (AS) called to Islam: Allah (SWT) says:
“And who turns away from the religion of Ibraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous.
Behold! His Lord said to him: “Bow (thy will to Me):” He said: “I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe.”
And this was the legacy that Ibraham left to his sons, and so did Yaqub (Jacob); “Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the State of Submission (to Allah).
Were ye witnesses when Death appeared before Yaqub? Behold, he said to his sons: “What will ye worship after me?” They said: “We shall worship Thy God and the God of thy fathers- of Ibraham, Isma’il and Ishaaq (Isaac),- the one (True) God: To Him we bow (in Islam).”” [Surah Al Baqarah 2:130-133]
Musa or Moses (AS) came with nothing other than Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
“And Musa said: “O my people! If ye do (really) believe in Allah, then in Him put your trust if ye submit (your will to His).”” [Surah Yunus 10:84]
Yusuf or Joseph (AS) came calling his people to Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
“(Yusuf supplicated) My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams – the (Only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You (O Allah) are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian) in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim (submitting to You alone) and join me with the righteous.” [Surah Yusuf 12:101]
In turn, ‘Isa bin Maryam (AS) came calling his people only to Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
“Then when ‘Isa came to know of their disbelief, he said: ‘Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?’ The disciples said: ‘We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims.’” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:52]
And the finality of Prophethood, the Imam of the Messengers and the Leader of the Righteous, Muhammad (SAW) was sent calling all of humanity not just a single people to Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
“This day I have perfected your religion for you (all humanity), completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:3]
The religion of all those truly sent by Allah as Messengers was Islam.

‘Isa was but a humble Messenger and Prophet of Allah.

What is quite amusing to see is that there are those who accept the concept of Monotheism (Jews and Christians) yet reject it at the same time. The Jews reject known Prophets and Messengers of Allah. They at times went as far as executing them. This was planned for ‘Isa as will be explained. Allah (SWT) describes this vividly in the Quran:
“Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some you disbelieved and some you killed.” [Surah Al Baqarah 2:87]
On the other hand, those who claimed Christianity went too far in the veneration of their Prophet and Messenger ‘Isa. They corrupted his teachings by claiming for him things that he never stated for himself. They elevated ‘Isa after his departing them to a paganistic status that nullified whatever Monotheistic faith they had in their hearts.
Allah (SWT) says:
“And they say: ‘The Most Gracious (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children).’ Indeed you have brought forth (said) a most terrible, evil thing. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, that they ascribe a son (or offspring) to the Most Gracious.
But it is not befitting (the Majesty) of the Most Gracious (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring).
There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Gracious as a slave.” [Surah Maryam 19:88-93]
Shaykhul Islam Ibn al-Qayyim has a beautiful poem dispelling the falsities and irrational of Christians past and present. He poetically states:
To the worshippers of the Messiah (‘Isa) we put forth a question.
We seek an answer from those who have comprehension.
If a god was to be put to death by a people
Can he be truly godly?
Stranger than a god being interned in a grave,
Is being confined in a womb
Remaining for nine months
In darkness; nourished from his mothers blood
Finally exiting the birth canal a small weak child
With open mouth seeking a breast to suckle
Suckling thus necessitating urination and defecation
Is this the God that you claim?!
Quite simply he is but a man who was chosen by Allah (SWT) as a caller to guidance and righteousness. Allah (SWT) says:
“The Messiah (‘Isa) bin Maryam, was no more than a Messenger, many who were Messengers have passed away before him. His mother (Mary) was a Sidiqah (believed in Words of Allah). Both of them used to eat food (as all other human beings). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, examples) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).” [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:75]
Some will ask, how can someone be born to a virgin mother and not be divine?
Allah (SWT) answers:
“Verily, the likeness of ‘Isa before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him (Adam) from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ – and he was.” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:59]
Surely the creation of a complete physical man from dust is greater than the creation of ‘Isa. If Adam (AS) is not thought of as being divine, then why has the same claim been made for ‘Isa (AS)?

‘Isa distances himself from the slander and unjustified claims of Christians.

Allah (SWT) gives us a glimpse of what will be spoken by ‘Isa on the Day of Judgment in defense of himself and proclaiming his innocence and freedom from the unjustified claims of those who ascribed to him abominable lies.
Allah (SWT) mentions this to us in the concluding verses of Surah Al Ma’idah:
“And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Ressurection):
‘O ‘Isa, son of Maryam! Did you say unto men: ‘Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?’’
He (‘Isa) will say: ‘Glory is to You (Alone)! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You surely, have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden and (unseen).’
‘Never did I say to them except what You (Allah) commanded me to say: ‘Worship Allah, My Lord and Your Lord.’ And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things.’
‘If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.’
Allah will say: ‘This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) – they shall abide therein forever.’ Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the great success (Paradise).
To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is Able to do all things.” [Surah Al Ma'idah 5:116-120]
These are the words of truth that are undeniable by the one who possesses insight, rational and a clear understanding of Allah.

Who was Maryam? And the Truth about the Immaculate Conception and the Birth of ‘Isa (AS).

It has been aptly stated that behind every successful man there is a woman. In most cases, ones’ mother is by far the single most profound shaping force behind a young man or woman. From the moment of conception the mother to be undergoes emotional, physical and psychological changes that ready her for the responsibility of shaping the life a new human being. The mother is an institution of higher learning. She is a bastion of blind love for her child. She is a proprietor of undying devotion. The mother is a source of physical nutrition and safety, emotional attachment, psychological comfort and spiritual guidance to her growing child.
Therefore, we are compelled as Muslims to honour, elevate, adore, protect, esteem, respect, revere, strengthen, recognize, be dutiful to, give comfort to, show loyalty and allegiance to, pay homage to and supplicate for ones mother.
The mother-son relationship is one of great importance and value in Islam. As such, we have been given many great examples in the Quran and the Sunnah to model ourselves after. One can see examples in the Quran of all of the different forms of family structure. To see the relationship of a foster mother with her adopted son look to the example of Musa or Moses (AS) and his foster mother Asiya (AS). To see the relationship of a single mother raising her son alone look to the example of Ismail or Ishmael (AS) and his mother Hajar (AS). To see the relationship of an unrighteous mother with her children look to the example of the daughters of Lot or Lut (AS) and their unrighteous mother.
Of the most poignant and telling mother-son relationships in the Quran is that of ‘Isa bin Maryam (AS). For the first and last time in history a Prophet would not be addressed by his father’s name. Rather, he is referred to as Jesus the son of Mary.
To assess and grasp the true virtue of ‘Isa (AS) it is necessary to learn about his mother Maryam ibnata ‘Imran (AS).

Who is Maryam (AS)?

Maryam (AS) simply is of the most complete women of all humanity, past, present and future.
Rasool Allah (SAW) said: “Many men have reached completion (in their relationship with Allah such as the many thousands of Prophets; Ibn Hajr). (Yet,) only four woman have reached (this same level of) completion. Maryam bint (daughter of) ‘Imran, Asiya the wife of Pharaoh, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (wife of Rasool Allah) and Fatimah bint Muhammad (reached completion). The excellence and superiority of ‘Aisha (wife of Rasool Allah) in relation to the rest of women is the equal of that of Thareed (Meat filled dish) in relation to other dishes.” [Agreed upon its authenticity by both Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim.]
Maryam is the daughter of one of the most well known and respected men from the Jewish nation. She is from the house of ‘Imran. Her mother is Hinah bin Faqoud (Ibn Kathir’s Bidayah).
Hinah bint Faqoud was unable to bear a child for a number of years. She turned in sincere supplication to Allah (SWT) beseeching Him (SWT) to bless her with a child whom she vowed to dedicate to the service of Allah. Allah (SWT) says:
“Allah chose Adam, Nuh (Noah), and the family of Ibrahim and the family of ‘Imran above the ‘Alameen (all creation during their respective times). Offspring, one of the other and Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knowing.
(Remember) when the wife of ‘Imran said: ‘O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for your services (free from all worldly work and obligations; solely for your worship) so accept this from me. Verily you are the All-Hearer (You hear my Du‘a) and the All-Knowing (and you know my sincere intention in fulfilling this vow).’
Then when she gave birth to her (Maryam), she said ‘O my Lord! I have given birth to a female child (Ibn Abbas states that the Jews only accepted males into dedicated service).’ – And Allah knew better what she brought forth (He is the Creator), – ‘And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam (literally = pure maidservant of Allah), and I see refuge with You (Allah) for her and her offspring from the Shaytan (Satan), the outcast.’
So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya (Prophet Zachary).” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:33-37]
Rasool Allah (SAW) mentions:
“No new born escapes the prick (touch) of the Shaytan at the time of their birth. (The touch is what) causes them to begin to scream. Only Maryam and her son (escaped being molested by the Shaytan).” [Reported through authentic narrations in the Musnad of al-Imam Ahmed and the Sahih of al-Imam Muslim.]
Allah (SWT) thus answered the supplication by Hinah for Maryam and her future offspring.
Maryam was taken under the tutelage of the great Prophet of Allah Zakariya (AS). In fact Allah chose Zakariya (AS) for the great task of spiritually rearing Maryam (AS). Allah (SWT) describes this in the Quran:
“This is part of the news of the Ghaib (unseen, news of past nations of which you have no knowledge prior to this) which We reveal to you (O Muhammad). You were not with them when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam; nor were you with them when they disputed.” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:44]
The pious leaders of Bani Israel gathered in dispute as to whom would be given charge of Maryam. They decided to throw their pens in the river (Jordan). The owner of the pen that flowed against the current would be given charge of Maryam (Ibn Kathir al-Bidayah).
To truly appreciate the virtue of Maryam we remember the words of Allah:
“And (remember) when the angels said: ‘O Maryam! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from Shirk and disbelief and sin), and chosen you above the woman of the ‘Alameen (all creation during her time). O Maryam! Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord and prostrate yourself, and bow down along with those who bow down (to Him).’” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:42-43]
The angels would openly address her and bring her what she desired in forms of sustenance. Allah (SWT) says:
“So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya (Prophet Zachary). Every time he entered the praying place to (visit) her, he found her supplied with sustenance. He said, ‘O Maryam! From where have you received this?’ She said, ‘This is from Allah.’ Verily Allah provides sustenance to whom He Wills, without limit.” [Surah Ali 'Imran 3:37]
This honoured woman was therefore chosen by Allah for a unique mission that would test her faith and resolve.

The Immaculate Conception

Owing the delicate and confusing nature of this great occurrence, Allah (SWT) records this happening in the Quran with precision and point by point detail. In a Surah titled Maryam (Chapter 19), Allah (SWT) describes to us the Immaculate Conception and the birth of ‘Isa (AS). To gain full benefit and strengthen our grasp of this great happening we will at times insert explanatory words and arguments (derived from the Tafsir of the Rabbani Scholars).
Allah (SWT) says in Surah Maryam (19:16-21):
“And mention in the Book (the Quran, O Muhammad the story of) Maryam, when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing the east.
She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them. We then sent unto her our Ruh (Jibreel or Archangel Gabriel), and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects (physically). In the midst of her screen and secluded state a strange man confronted her in her private quarters. Feeling threatened she turned to Allah.
She said: ‘Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.’ [Instead of saying I seek refuge with the Most Mighty she mentioned Allah with His attribute of Rahman (Most Gracious) to remind the seemingly threateningly stranger of Mercy and Grace rather than Anger and Wrath. Her immediate impulse was to turn to Allah the Protector rather than to seek what may be the futile aid of others on the onset of the happening.]
(The angel) said: ‘I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.’
She said: ‘How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor was I unchaste?’
He said: “So (it will be), your Lord has said, ‘That is easy for Me (Allah)! And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter already decreed.’”
By whose Power and Might were the heavens created and raised above one another without supports?
By whose Power and Might was the earth created as a sphere yet made flat for those who tread upon its surface?
By whose Power and Might was Ibrahim (AS) saved from the fire?
By whose Power and Might was Musa (AS) Saved from Pharaoh?
By whose Power and Might was Yunus or Jones (AS) saved from the whale?
By Whose Power and Might was ‘Isa (AS) eventually going to be saved from the plots of the Jews and Romans?
The answer is found in Surah Al Hashr (59:22-24):
“He is Allah, beside Whom none has the right to be worshipped but He. (Allah is) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
He is Allah beside Whom none has the right to be worshipped but He. (Allah is) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of Security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, The Supreme. Glory is to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.
He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the Heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [Surah Al Hashr 59:22-24]
He said: “So (it will be), your Lord has said, ‘That is easy for Me (Allah)! And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter already decreed.’” A sign of Tawheed during his stay with Bani Israel and a sign of the nearness of the Day of Judgment after his descent from the heavens to say the one eyed liar or the Dajjal.
So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (Bethlehem about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem). She remained in Jerusalem until the signs of her pregnancy began to manifest themselves. When the signs began to show themselves she moved to Bethlehem for privacy. After the conception she went to visit her sister, the mother of Yahya (AS) bin Zakariya (AS) and told her of what had transpired.
Imam Malik (RA) states: “It has reached me that Yahya bin Zakariya and ‘Isa bin Maryam are cousins from the side of the mother, and that their conception was in the same day.” [Reported by Ibn Kathir in Bidayah.]
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date palm. It should not be misunderstood that after conception Maryam immediately and simultaneously gave birth to a child. This should not be misconstrued due to the nature of the wording or in misunderstanding the placement of the Faa (Faa ut-Ta‘qeeb). The previous verse is preceded with the verse of Conception. The verse of conception does begin with a Faa, as does this one. This usually means that the two acts are linked in a specific time constraint, and in sequence. The important point is that the time constraint and sequence is relative to the action in question. The Faa is also used in Surah Al-Mu’minoon verse number 14. Allah says: “Then we made the Nutfah (semen and ovum) into a clot, then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones….” The Faa (translated to the word Then in this example) is used in the same manner of linking the respective phases. Yet there is no claim that these phases are done simultaneously, rather it implies that they are consecutive in nature. As well, we will soon see that the people accused Maryam of immorality because she came carrying a newborn. This implies that the time frame caused them to uniformly suspect that the child was hers. Ibn Kathir states that the majority of the scholars (Ibn Jareer, Ibn al-Qayim, Al-Qurtubi and Ibn Taymiyyah) contend that she carried ‘Isa (AS) for full term (9 months).
“So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): “Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!”
But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): “Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;
“And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.
“So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to (God) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into not talk with any human being’”” [Surah Maryam 19:22-26]
A spring sprout from beneath her and food was made available for nourishment. Taking a vow of silence was the preferred from of fasting during those times. It is deemed Haraam (prohibited) in Islam.
